                                      The Warden’s the first person really to
                                      ever endow her with a gift and it’s a gift
                                      that she can actually appreciate. She
                                      may be confident in herself and in what
                                      she stands for, but there’s room in her
                                      heart for things that may seem trivial to
                                      others.

    “But it is my hope that there will be
      no need to return until after we are
      finished with your… Warden tasks.”

He has his doubts, personally. Balfour half expects
to end up dead by the end of this, either by the taint
or at the end of some darkspawn blade. Maybe the
Archdemon will kill him,  if he’s lucky enough to get
that far in the first place.
